Polar Bear Arctic Wanderer

The polar bear has been a favorite of mine for a long time and I thought it was time I update my pattern. Resilient, intelligent and undeniably beautiful, these animals have a magical quality that is difficult to put into words. There iconic silhouette as they cross vast expanses of ice was actually what first motivated me to create felt soft sculptures, and I sought to capture that silhouette here <3

6" long, 3.5" tall.

Made from wool felt and stuffed with 100% wool, so it's shape will remain firm over time without shrinking the way some polyfils would. Completely designed and hand sewn by me in the great Canadian countryside, currently blanketed in two feet of snow. :)
